The latest data from PropTrack’s Home Price Index reveals the incredible resilience of Australia’s property market.
RT Edgar Toorak declined to comment on the purchaser’s identity, however Ms Goyder placed a caveat on the house in August.
The high-profile pair are most often associated with Mr Goyder’s positions as chairman of the AFL, which he has held since 2017, and Qantas since 2018.
He has also been chairman of energy company Woodside since 2017.
The glamorous concrete and marble-clad property is a product of high-end builder Agushi in collaboration with celebrated architectural firm Workroom and landscape architects Nathan Burkett.

Richard and Janine Goyder were revealed as the buyers of the South Yarra home.
It comes with a range of lavish features including a six-car basement garage, an internal mirrored lift, an infinity pool and a state-of-the-art home automation system.
A spacious open-plan living room leads out through sliding doors to a covered outdoor entertaining space with a built-in barbecue, sunken lounge and north-facing deck.
RT Edgar Toorak directors Sarah Case and Mark Wridgway had the luxe listing.
The South Yarra pad adds to the Goyder’s already extensive property portfolio, understood to include a 1200ha hobby farm near Toodyay as well as a holiday home in Augusta, both in Western Australia, and a five-bedroom house in the ritzy Perth suburb of Mosman Park.

The Qantas chairman’s move up the Melbourne property ladder comes amid interesting times for the airline after boss Alan Joyce announced he will step down early from his role.
Mr Joyce’s retirement came after the national carrier faced scrutiny in recent weeks over allegations it sold tickets for “ghost flights” and lobbied the federal government to reject Qatar Airways’ bid to increase flights to Australia.
Vanessa Hudson is now the managing director and group chief executive as of September 6.
