Tribunal news: Martin suspension downgraded

CARLTON forward Jack Martin had his striking charge downgraded to a one-match suspension at the AFL Tribunal tonight.

Martin was originally charged for an alleged incident that occurred in the Blues’ elimination final win against Sydney.

The Match Review Officer originally offered the 28-year-old a two-game suspension, however this was downgraded to one game after the AFL Tribunal reduced the high impact to medium.
