Former top five draft pick Dylan Stephens has requested a trade from Sydney, according to multiple reports.
While the Swans were still hopeful of keeping Stephens as late as Wednesday, according to SEN’s Tom Morris, he has now informed the club of his decision.
North Melbourne has long been considered a front-runner for his services and Seven’s Mitch Cleary is reporting that the Kangaroos are his club of choice.

Stephens, who was taken at pick No. 5 in the 2019 Draft has played 43 games for the Swans including the 2022 Grand Final.
The wingman played just 13 senior games in 2023.
